As is often the case in the European context of basketball, the capital is not always the capital of basketball in the country. This is undoubtedly the case in Belgium, where Antwerp emerges as the city of basketball. I also visited nearby cities: Lokeren Sint Niklaas, Dendermonde and Aalst who have all taken an artistic approach in having basketball courts re-coated by an artist.
